Annual Statewide Training Conference
Each year NCVAN hosts a conference in North Carolina that trains those who work with and help victims of crime. >>

Certification Academy
The North Carolina Victim Service Practitioner Certification Program was created by the NC Victim Assistance Network, with collaboration from other agencies, to create a statewide standard in victim services. Certification training is offered in the Spring and in the Fall. >>

Hispanic Outreach Program
NCVAN's Hispanic Outreach Program assists victims of crimes within the Hispanic/Latino communities in North Carolina. >>

Subsistence
Subsistence assists family members of homicide victims with the costs of traveling to the trials of the accused. >>

Victim Assistance In Law Enforcement (VALE)
Law enforcement agencies have more contact with victims and their families who report crime than any other segment of the criminal justice system. It is estimated that prosecutors' offices will accept for prosecution and trial ten percent or less of all serious reported crime. Judges will be involved at trial settings with about two or three percent of reported serious crime. >>
