To remember a loved one

NC Memorial Garden Brick

NCVAN offers family and friends the opportunity to memorialize their loved ones with a memorial brick at NCVAN’s Crime Victim Memorial Garden “Victims’ Voices...Silent No More” with no purchase fee.

Located on E. Lane Street in Raleigh across from the Legislative Building, the garden is designed to be inspirational and motivational. The design offers an opportunity to remember those who have been harmed by crime while also raising positive thoughts about future generations' hope. Also, the Garden provides a tranquil and reflective spot for visitors to the Capitol area.

Loved ones can have the names of those lost to homicide inscribed on a brick and placed in the NCVAN Memorial Garden. The bricks are free of charge.  To have your loved one’s name inscribed, submit a form online by selecting a button below:

Or, download the forms here in ENGLISH or SPANISH and mail to:

NC Memorial Garden

Our Crime Victim Memorial Garden is a place where family members and loved ones of victims can remember the ones they’ve lost. The names of those lost to homicide are inscribed on the bricks that line the walkway of the garden, reflecting the memories of those who are forever etched on our hearts. The Garden provides the opportunity to remember yesterday’s years and its tranquility gives the sense of a hopeful future.
