To remember a loved one

Memorialize Your Loved-One on a Brick
NCVAN Memorial Garden
The NCVAN Crime Victims' Memorial Garden is a place where loved ones of homicide victims can remember the ones they’ve lost. The names of those taken by homicide are inscribed on the bricks that line the walkway of the garden, reflecting the memories of those who are forever etched in our hearts. The Garden provides the opportunity to remember yesterday’s years, and its tranquility gives the sense of a hopeful future.
NCVAN Memorial Garden Bricks
For no charge, NCVAN offers family and friends the opportunity to memorialize their loved-ones with a memorial brick at NCVAN’s Crime Victims' Memorial Garden “Victims’ Voices...Silent No More”.
Located on E. Lane Street in Raleigh across from the Legislative Building, the garden is designed to be inspirational and motivational. The design offers an opportunity to remember those who have been harmed by violent crime while also raising positive thoughts about future generations' hope. Also, the Garden provides a tranquil and reflective spot for visitors to the Capitol area.
If your loved-one has been taken by violent crime, you can request their name be engraved on a brick and placed in the NCVAN Garden in memory of homicide victims. The bricks are free of charge. To submit an online application and request a memorial brick, select a button below:
